RC circuit

The RC circuit realizes the following first order transfer function:

vout(s)/vin(s) = 1/(RCs+1)

The circuit can be used e.g. as an analog first order low pass filter with bandwidth

ωb = 1/(RC) [rad/s]

or as an example of a process with time-constant dynamics with time-constant

T = RC

and gain 1.

The resistor R can be adjusted with a potensiometer between 2k and 0 Ohm (position 10 and 0, respectively). The capacitor has a fixed value of 220 mF (mikro-Farad).
